![]() CareersKPBS-FM Picks Rogow for Chief Job By Gary Stigall, CSTE KPBS finally made official Bruce Rogow's promotion to Chief Engineer for their FM station. Bruce had been assistant to Mike Tosch, who recently left to work for an NFL communications consultant in Los Angeles. Bruce started with KPBS-FM in 1995 after three years as TV maintenance engineer at KUSI. Previously, he had worked for Professional Sound and Music, San Diego, as a synthesizer and audio tech and spent some time at Gifford Engineering as an RF tech. He trained with RCA Institutes in New York, received an ASEE at Mesa College, and is currently in an Operations Management/IDS degree program at San Diego State University. Bruce says, "Outside of broadcast, I founded the San Diego State University Solar Car Project and led the effort from 1990 to 1997. We built two solar cars and went to races in Australia and the U.S. Check out my website for a picture." | |||
