During the period of time Rohde & Schwarz used Tektronix as their distribution arm they were very successful. Rohde & Schwarz is moving in direction divergent from the Tektronix goals and we have decided to work directly with customers. The focus for Rohde & Schwarz will be RF test for 8VSB, MPEG and Audio testing. "Some of you may know me from my years at Tektronix where I was Product Development Manger for Transmission Test products. Prior to joining Tektronix I was TV Chief Engineer in WPXI-TV, Pittsburgh, PA and WDIV-TV, Detroit, MI. Before becoming a Chief I was a maintenance technician for WBZ-TV, Boston. During the 1970's I owned 3 AM and 1 FM Station in Pennsyalvania, Connecticut and Upstate New York. "I joined Rohde and Schwarz in 1999 as the Western Region Sales Manager, with an office in Long Beach, CA. As the region grows and I add sales and applications engineers I will be returning to my home in metro-Portland, OR.
