WantedStudio Space for World Music ProjectDear SBE Readers: We are a new, nonprofit organization in San Diego in the process of forming a web radio station. We will offer "world music"; that is, music from all continents including folk and traditional music from North America. We have a rather large group of volunteers who are willing to be our DJs, and a volunteer management staff. We have commitments for studio equipment and a growing CD library, and we are nearing the time when we can begin broadcasting on the web. We are now at the point of looking for studio space. Do you or your members know of any vacant studio space we could lease on a temporary or permanent basis? We need a sound-proofed room to be our "on-air" studio, preferrrably one that already has a console, along with adjacent space to serve as our business office and a record library (either several rooms or an open space and one separate office). Please spread the word to your members about our need via word of mouth and your web site, if possible. Your help is much appreciated. Please give me a call. All the best.
